Job Openings at Silver Creek Plunge Resort

Positions are available May through late fall.

A. General Duties: Various indoor/outdoor duties in adverse weather conditions, long hours (9 a.m. to 10 p.m.), dealing in public relations, taking reservations, working cash registers, cleaning, often physical labor and willingness to assist in any duties that may arise.

B. Specific Duties Include:

• Indoor: Cooking, cleaning cabins, lots of general cleaning, laundry, dishes in kitchen, organizing work area, taking reservations and answering questions, defusing problems with customers, working a cash register, muli-tasking in store, painting, bagging ice and lots of public relations.
  
  
• Outdoor: Cutting and bundling fire wood, cleaning fire pits, picking up trash, public relations, mowing and up keep of grounds, pumping and cleaning toilets, lots of physical labor, construction, plumbing, electrical, maintenance, cleaning pool, painting, roofing and registration checks.

C. Job Requirements: Must be self motivated and able to complete tasks with little or no supervision, have good public relations skills with staff and customers, be able to do physical labor, work long hours, able and willing to stay busy, enjoy the outdoors and people, have a dependable vehicle, able to work all weekend with weekdays off and live on job site.

D. Lifeguard Needed:

• Certified or able to certify.
• Willing to do all duties listed above.
• Able to enforce pool regulations in crowded conditions.
• May require up to 4-6 hours of lifeguarding at a time.
